Mental Health America of Spartanburg County is a non-profit 501(c)(3), an affiliate of MHA SC and MHA National. Their overall goals are to raise awareness and reduce stigma. They work to bring innovative educational opportunities to all local residents.

Overview
I kind of chased MHA Spartanburg. I attended one of their educational sessions and felt called to contribute. Mental health is health, and an often misunderstood or under served aspect of human existence. I wanted to share their mission with my community and learn more.
Working with their organization for over four years, I certainly did grow personally and professionally. I appreciate each leader who become my daily partner for promotions and the ever-evolving, meaningful pursuit. This case study presents many of our projects.
Website Development
MHA Spartanburg needed a website built from scratch. We started our relationship with this top-priority tool for modern branding and information.
Social Media
The next step was to create their social media presence and start engaging with an audience. Goals were all about consistency and realistic growth.

Online Donations
I was a catalyst for MHA Spartanburg to begin accepting online donations, crucial to the digital user experience. We launched that solution in 2022.
Graphic Design
The organization had varying design needs over the years. I made logos, icons, flyers, and promotional graphics myself to keep their costs very low.
Email Marketing
Email outreach was important early on. MHA Spartanburg had been collecting contacts for a while. We capitalized on that with designed e-blasts.
Zoom Webinars
During the 2020 pandemic, MHA Spartanburg had to pivot. I helped them implement and execute virtual presentations for educational sessions.
The Latest … MHA Spartanburg could no longer fund my role as of 2023. They took marketing activities in-house and have continued to positively influence Spartanburg County.
